Do you want to try kayaking? Come and paddle with our club. No previous kayaking experience required but we do ask that you can swim.

Pool sessions are held at Bannockburn HS. Outdoor classes are held at the club site on the River Devon, CR CATS Canoe club,Alva, FK10 3AW. We are on google maps.
The club paddle on a Tuesday night from 6:30 – 8:30. If you want to come and see what we do, please pop along.
Summer Camps – Alva
Welcome to our annual Summer holiday program of taster camps for children aged 8+ who would like to try out kayaking. We would be delighted to welcome back any paddlers from previous years.
We will provide all the equipment required – kayak, paddle, helmet, buoyancy aid, shorty wetsuit, wet shoes and cagoule.
What do you need : You will need a towel, a swimsuit and some warm leggings and top to wear.
Come along to our club site on the outskirts of Alva and enjoy a 3 day introductory camp where you will have fun learning how to kayak. You can choose from
Kayaking only – 3 days of 2 hours for £40
Kayaking and Games – 3 days of 3.5 hours with kayaking and games for £70

These will include a 2 hr kayaking session as well as other activities and games in our field. Children can also stay on site from 12:30 – 13:30 and bring their own lunch. Half days camps are £70 for 3 days

Pool Sessions – March 2025 – Bannockburn HS
These are now finished. Pool sessions will restart in late October.
We are running pool sessions for children aged 8+ to try out kayaking in Bannockburn swimming pool before venturing outside after Easter. We will show the children how to paddle around the pool, capsize and play some games.

Easter Holiday “Come and Try” Sessions – Alva
These are now finished. Easter sessions will be scheduled again for 2026.
