On behalf of CR Cats, I would like to welcome everyone to our slalom site on the River Devon, Alva for this year’s Division 3/4 and Scottish Schools Championship Slalom.
I hope you all have a very enjoyable weekend. If you have any queries, please e-mail CRCATSEVENTS@gmail.com.
The slalom site is on the River Devon between Fishcross and Alva (Map OS Reference is NS894960). If coming from Alva on the A91, turn right once you have left Alva (signposted Fishcross). The slalom site is on the left hand side with the entrance set back of the road before the slalom site. If coming from Kincardine Bridge, follow signs for Sterling Mills on the A908 but turn left at Fishcross onto the B9140 and then first right signposted for the Equestrian Centre. If using SATNAV, use postcode FK10 3AW (This is on the other side of the river but within sight of the slalom site).
There is camping in the field (£2.50 per person per night). For those not camping, parking is £1 help cover the costs of the toilets. There is a water supply and there will be toilet facilities. Please park cars on perimeter of field and leave space in the middle for the kids to play.
There will be a cafe serving food, drinks and cakes from breakfast onwards on Saturday and Sunday.

On the day
The morning can be very busy, so hopefully to make it easier, we are trialling having a separate desk for Div competitors.
For Div 4 Paddlers: We are going to have a separate desk (There will be a big sign). Here you will either tell us your SCA number, or completed day membership for the SCA (£5) and get allocated your bib number. We will also be accepting on the day entries for Div 4 at this desk.
For Div 3 Paddlers: If you have entered online and paid for everything and have your bib. Have fun, you don’t need to come to control! If you do need to come, find the main entries desk.
All other paddlers: Please come and pay and confirm that you have your bibs. These will be split by surname. If you have not entered online (why not?) or have additional entries, these can be done here.
TEAM run entries will be taken at lunchtime on the Saturday.
